Last year’s event featured celebrity Laurie Anderson with her dog “Andrew” from CBS Great American Dog program! Anderson participated as judge and presented agility training and canine freestyle. We hope to have her back again. The program consisted of: Variety of dog related vendors as well as specialty Arts & Crafts) Agility Demo & Discussion Program, Demonstrations, and Speakers Pose a quality portrait of you & your pet during BowWowPowWOw Musical Dogs Contests & Prizes Pet Adoption (dogs & cats) and Education Canine FreeStyle Demonstration Acupuncture for pets AKC Canine Good Citizen (Testing on site for your pet!) Therapy dogs and training Kid’s activity area (kitty/puppy face painting & arts and crafts) Text Box: Volunteers needed and welcome for BowWowPowWow on Sunday, April 25, 2010.  Learn about pets, meet cool new people, or just have fun!  It’s also a great way to gain event experience for your resume as well as give back to the Adams Morgan community!  Typical responsibilities: Greeting table/ vendor check-in Speakers/media (hosting and direction) Event Planning (Organize in advance!)
